FAQ

How do I take a cutting?

Take a healthy, non-flowering shoot, cut below a node, remove lower leaves, dip in rooting hormone if needed, and keep it humid but not soggy until roots form.

Why do seeds not germinate?

Usually temperature, moisture or a dormancy requirement. Some species need cold stratification, light, or scarification before they will germinate.

Bare-root or container?

Bare-root is cheaper and establishes well in dormancy; container plants can be planted later and suffer less root disturbance, but need more aftercare.
